These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Kiam Clinic website and the services provided by KAZYS LTD trading as Kiam Clinic.

By accessing this website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Kiam Clinic is currently in the process of registering with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Eligibility

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 years and over.

By booking an appointment with Kiam Clinic you confirm that:

• you are at least 18 years old

• the information you provide is accurate and complete

Booking Appointments

Appointments may be booked through:

• our online booking system

• email communication

• telephone

Appointments are managed using Cliniko, a secure patient management and appointment system.

Once an appointment has been booked, you will receive a confirmation email with further information about your appointment.

Online Consultations

Online consultations are conducted via Cliniko Telehealth or Microsoft Teams.

Patients must ensure that they have:

• a stable internet connection

• a suitable device with camera and microphone

• a private and quiet location for the consultation

Patients must be physically located in the United Kingdom at the time of the consultation, as clinicians are licensed to provide medical consultations within the UK.

In-Person Appointments

In-person appointments take place at:

Kiam Clinic, 13 Worple Road, Epsom, KT18 5EP

Patients are advised to arrive 5–10 minutes before their scheduled appointment time.

Identification Requirements

Patients may be required to provide:

• photo identification (passport or driving licence)

• proof of address

This may be required in accordance with clinical governance and prescribing guidelines.

ADHD Assessments

ADHD assessments are conducted by a Consultant Psychiatrist registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).

An assessment typically includes:

• clinical interview

• review of questionnaires

• discussion of personal and developmental history

Following the assessment, a written diagnostic report will be prepared.

A diagnosis cannot be guaranteed and will depend on the clinical findings.

Fees and Payments

All consultation fees must be paid in accordance with the payment terms provided at the time of booking.

Payments are processed through Cliniko and Stripe, which manage payment processing securely.

Medication costs, laboratory tests and pharmacy charges are not included in consultation fees unless explicitly stated.

Follow-up Appointments

If treatment is recommended, additional follow-up appointments may be required.

During medication titration, follow-up reviews may be required monthly until a stable dose is reached.

Follow-up appointments are charged according to the clinic’s current fee schedule.

Shared Care Agreements

Where appropriate, a Shared Care Agreement may be arranged with a patient’s GP.

Under shared care arrangements:

• the GP may take over issuing prescriptions

• the consultant continues to provide specialist oversight

Shared Care Agreements are subject to the discretion of the patient’s GP and cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 72 hours’ notice may not be eligible for a refund.

Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice may also result in the appointment fee being retained.

Medical Emergencies

Kiam Clinic does not provide emergency or out-of-hours services.

• Accident & Emergency (A&E)

In a life-threatening emergency please call 999.

Confidentiality

All clinicians are bound by professional standards regarding patient confidentiality.

Patient information will be handled in accordance with:

• UK data protection law

• our Privacy Policy
